On the 16th of September the participants of Estonian Institute´s schooling program “Culture Step” held a graduation party of the 2020 summer season. More than 600 participants completed the program in full capacity (24 academic hours of lectures, study trips and discussions).

More than 150 participants, volunteers and program partners gathered on the 16th of September at Open Air Museum to dance Estonian folkdance, enjoy food and drinks and admire the beautiful sea view of Tallinn´s coastline. All the graduates received a “Culture Step” diploma.

The new group of “Culture Step” will start the autumn season already this week.

Estonian Institute launched the “Cultural Step” program in the autumn of 2018. Since then, more than a two thousand people have joined the program. The program offers study trips, lectures and discussions to permanent residents of Tallinn and Harjumaa as well as Ida-Virumaa, whose mother tongue isn´t Estonian and who wish to learn about Estonian culture, nature, history and day-to-day life. The events are in either English or Russian.

The program is funded by Integration Foundation and European Social Fond
