During the Espoo City Theatre’s Estonian weeks, it’s possible to enjoy exciting theatre productions from both Tallinn and Viljandi.

Programme:

Estonian Drama Theatre: “Saraband”
Tue, 27.02. 7 pm and Wed, 28.02. 7 pm

The production is based on Ingmar Bergman’s film with the same name, where ex-spouses Marianne and Johan meet after many years. The play examines the background of relationships of dependence and explores the boundaries of love and selfishness.

Von Krahl Theatre: “Vaimukuskuss”
Sat, 3.03. 7 pm and Sun, 4.03. at 3 pm

The production combines theatre, dance and modern circus into a lively, absurd and talented description of communication difficulties. You’ll leave the theatre, soul filled with lightness and pureness.

Ugala Theatre: “Mother’s Day
Thu, 8.03. at 7 pm, Fri, 9.03. at 7 pm and Sat, 10.03. at 2 pm

“Mother’s Day” turns the familiar situation upside down. If the average mother answers within a day up to three hundred questions posed by their children, when can mothers ask their own questions? The production presents four mothers, the heroes of everyday life.
