The Estonian Institute will organize the Estonian language and culture course for beginners and also for those with some knowledge of Estonian.
Classes for beginners will take place on Tuesdays, starting on 19 September 2017 and ending on 19 December 2017 (total of 7 weeks at 90 minutes per week). Classes for people with some previous knowledge in Estonian will take place on Thursdays, starting on 21 September 2017 and ending on 21 December 2017. If there is more interest, the course will continue from the middle of January 2018.
The lessons will be from 18:00 to 19:30 (2 x 45 min) in our premises in the Old Town, Suur-Karja 14.
The cost for 2017 is 235-250 euro (depending on the groups’ size: 250 euro in case of 4-6 participants, 235 euro for 7-10 participants; invoice will be sent by the end of September). Participants are also asked to obtain a textbook „E nagu Eesti“ that will remain in their possession.
The study group will be small, up to 10 persons. To a degree, the participants can design the courses themselves according to topics and themes of interest. The courses will not officially certified.

The teacher Lea Kreinin is highly experienced in teaching Estonian abroad (in Hungary, Canada and UK). She has MA from Tartu University and PhD from the University of Glasgow.
